Novetats de NetNewsWire aviat (& TapLynx)

Brent Simmons informa sobre les pròximes versions de NetNewsWire per a Mac i iPhone/iPod touch: Where I am with NetNewsWire. No dóna dates, però avança que amb molta probabilitat la 3.2/Mac i la 2.0/iPhone es podran sincronitzar amb Google Reader :-)

Més endavant vindrà una 4.0/Mac totalment renovada... D'altra banda, encara és més interessant l'altre programari en què està treballant: TapLynx, un framework que permetrà crear aplicacions per a iPhone/iPod touch basades en canals RSS, sense programar. Ja n'hi ha un exemple: All Things Digital (enllaç a l'iTunes Store).

I’ve spent the last six months or so mostly in iPhone-land, working on the foundation for NetNewsWire 2.0. Along the way we discovered it was generalizable and that there’s a business doing private-label apps based on the same foundation that will power NetNewsWire 2.0. The highest-profile example is All Things Digital — if you use it, you are in a way using an early version of NetNewsWire 2.0.
